Let me be honest here. I hate compact fluorescent bulbs. Whenever I switch one on the room seems darker. BUT even more than that. I hate the color they give off. Why can't someone create a fluorescent bulb with good color?
Is anyone else as bothered as I am?

Yes, they make me feel miserable and the colour is appalling. I dont know how it works outside the UK but if you look at the lumens, you need a high figure. A lot of eco bulbs have very low lumens and that is why they are so appalling.
